Through mutual love for Satsang and the Satpurush (Guru), Pooja and Mitesh met unexpectedly. At a time when neither was expecting to find love, love found a way into their hearts. It took only one conversation for Pooja to wonder about the possibilities, and one glance at Pooja’s smile for Mitesh to think how unforgettable she was. After their initial interaction, their relationship flourished through an unexpected avenue - Facebook. Mitesh found Pooja's profile on Facebook, and began chatting with her on a regular basis. He was bold and persistent while she was playful and charming. The chatting progressed to texting and texting progressed to calling and eventually, the two decided it was about time for a first date.

 

Most people that know Mitesh would say he is a savvy guy, but one of the smartest moves that he ever made was bringing baked goods for Pooja on that first date. She was surprised and impressed and wondered what other hidden talents Mitesh possessed. As time passed, Mitesh and Pooja grew closer together. Eventually, the wonder and curiosity they possessed were embraced by the reality that stood in front of them; they were in love.  

 

On March 20, 2016, Mitesh decided to cement his love for Pooja. Mitesh brought Pooja into Boston and the day started off different than most. Mitesh led Pooja to a horse carriage ride through the city, a city they both loved. Towards the end of the evening, Mitesh etched that night into both of their lives forever. He got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and proposed to Pooja. Pooja was filled with disbelief and excitement; her fairytale became a reality. She said yes in a heartbeat! Mitesh and Pooja cannot wait to start their lives together and look forward to celebrating their special day with all of their family and friends.
