meet mitesh

Mitesh was born in the great, industrial city of Buffalo, New York, where his parents first settled as immigrants from India. He moved between Buffalo and Rochester, and then to Waterford, Connecticut where he started his young childhood. His family decided to enter the hospitality business, and just before the start of secondary school, Mitesh moved to Charlestown, Rhode Island where he spent the rest of his childhood and continued onto college. With the initial interest to pursue medical school, he attended the University of Rhode Island (URI) in Kingston, RI, and decided to leave his career options open by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics. His time at URI was well spent; he served as a Resident Advisor on campus, ventured off to India for a summer of volunteer work, supported South Asian activities on campus, made life-long friends, and met the love of his life. After a year of contemplating career options, Mitesh decided to pursue a life-long interest and talent - construction. He earned a Master’s degree in Construction Management from New York University (NYU) in 2017. Mitesh loves to do handy-work, adores cooking and baking, enjoys watching sports, and most importantly, loves to do seva (volunteer).
