Pooja was born in the industrial town of Lowell, Massachusetts, just a couple miles away from Billerica where her parents first settled as immigrants from India. At a very young age, she went to India for a couple years of boarding school near Mt. Abu. She then moved back to Massachusetts where she finished primary and secondary school and continued onto college. With her love and interest for health sciences, she attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Boston, MA and earned a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Her time at MCPHS was well spent; she developed her career, made life-long friends, and met the love of her life. Aside from being a Clinical Pharmacist, Pooja loves to try different desserts, enjoys kickboxing, always drinks Starbucks, and most importantly, loves to do seva (volunteer).
